What are the responsibilities and job description for the Educator, Centralized Scheduling, Days, Work from Home position at Norton Healthcare?
Responsibilities
The Centralized Scheduling Educator must have a full understanding of the scheduling process and work flow in order to conduct end user training classes. They will assist leadership with creating, updating and evaluating course materials. The Educator will have excellent communication skills and positivity. The will have the ability to adapt to challenging situations and diverse personalities. They will be responsible for training new employees of Centralized Diagnostic Scheduling and provide ongoing educational support as new procedures and facilities are added the department. They will be responsible for training employees of the Norton Medical Group who perform direct scheduling as requested by the medical group. They will provide ongoing educational support to the schedulers of the Norton Medical Group. They will review potential scheduling errors reported by the diagnostic testing departments to determine if there are trends and if additional education is needed and provide feedback to management of the appropriate leadership team.
**This position has the opportunity to work from home. You may be asked to complete training at a Norton Healthcare facility or be able to come to a Norton Healthcare facility for business purposes. Employees in this role must reside in Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri. Ohio, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina and South Carolina**
Qualifications
Required:
- Three years diagnostic scheduling
Desired:
- High School Diploma or GED
