- Job Responsibilities: The Mgr, HIT collaborates with the Dir, HIT to direct, manage and supervise assigned departmental functions, ensuring completeness, accuracy and integrity of the electronic health record information. This includes, but is not limited to, planning and directing the collection, compilation and distribution of data, recruiting, training and educating staff, monitoring staff performance against established productivity standards and providing input into departmental operating budgets.
Qualifications
Required:
- Three years in Health Information Management or Health Information Technology
- Bachelor Degree Health Information Management
- One of: RHIA or RHIT
Desired:
- Certified Medical Transcriptionist
