Responsibilities
Independently preforms EEGs, NCS, Evoked potentials, Humphry visual testing, OCT’s. Long-term video EEG monitoring on patients with scalp and intracranial placed electrodes in the epilepsy monitoring unit, WADA, SEEG and cortical stimulation procedures if position is in the EMU unit of neurodiagnostics. Over sees the daily performance of entry level technologists, registered technologists and will lead the department in the event it is needed.
This is a WOW (Work on Weekends) position. Schedules for WOW employees include working every Saturday & Sunday. Employees in designated WOW positions earn premium pay in addition to their competitive hourly rates and shift differential.

Qualifications
Required:
- Three (3) year experience in a healthcare setting. One (1) year experience in Electroencephalography experience including electrode set up, montage creation/verification, troubleshooting, hook-up and discontinuation. One (1) year experience, in a EMU facility, training provided by a REEG Technician for EMU unit procedures including subdural grid implant intraoperative, WADA, SEEG and cortical stimulation and postoperative procedures including SPECT injection and/or One (1) year experience in clinical hospital facility which performs specialty testing, that include but not limited to Evoked Potential’s, OCT, HVF and assist neurologist with NCV/EMG and Botox procedures as needed.
- Electroencephalogram (EEG) Technician
Desired:
- Three (3) years' experience in Electroencephalography with training of subdural grid implant intraoperative, and postoperatively including but not limited to: electrode set-up, montage creation/verification, troubleshooting, hook-up and/or 3 years’ experience in SPECT injection, NCS, Evoked Potential and OCT, HVF.
