Volunteer: Support Spanish-Speaking Families at Clothing Distribution Event--Bilingual Volunteers Needed!

Note in the Pocket is a 501c3 organization providing clothing to homeless and impoverished children and families. To meet our goal to clothe 8,500 in 2022, we are now operating out of a much larger Volunteer Center! This will allow us to keep pace with our rapidly growing clothing donations (230,000 pounds in 2021) and to allow us to expand the number of individuals and volunteer groups we can accommodate.

, Note in the Pocket will set up tables of clothing and shoes by gender and size. Families will "shop" from the tables to choose items they like -- just like a yard sale but with free items. Volunteers will help to lay out clothing items on tables, direct families to the size tables they need, and tear down after the event. Volunteers will arrive at 1 30 PM for instructions and the clothing distribution itself will run from 2-5PM. Clean-up will happen shortly thereafter. Spanish-speaking volunteers will interact with families to explain the distribution process, help them find the items they need, etc. Thanks for your help!
