What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Unit Manager position at Nottingham Village?
The selected professional must have at least one year of experience or education in nursing administration and supervision and experience in geriatric nursing. Must hold a current RN license for Pennsylvania. Candidate must demonstrate integrity, ethics, professionalism, knowledge, be self-motivated and work independently.
Duties include:
Unit Manager: Responsible for the overall operations, integration, coordination and direction of nursing and patient care for an assigned nursing unit. Serves as a resource to all staff within the unit regarding the quality of services provided. Participates in meetings/committees as well as care planning to address patient care, Quality improvement, Psychoactive Medication committee, and standards or care.
This position will also ensure that care delivery is consistent with the mission, vision, values, and policies of the facility and in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
