**Job Overview:**
Nouis Home Care is a licensed Assisted-Living facility in Little Falls, MN. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently to their medical appointments. We operate a 15 passenger Ford Transit van and a 7 passenger Chrysler Pacifica. Most appointments take place in St. Cloud, Brainerd and Little Falls. Occasionally, you'll be tasked with driving to other locations. All clients have a full range of mobility and do not use wheelchairs. The Van Driver will be required to operate a vehicle in a professional manner, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle.
**Responsibilities:**
- Drive a van in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure the safety of passengers by monitoring road conditions and weather conditions.
- Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, answering questions and addressing concerns in a courteous and respectful manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the van, ensuring that it is free from any hazards or distractions.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the van, reporting any issues or concerns to the fleet manager.
- Participate in training and orientation programs to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
- Be available to work varied shifts...mostly Monday thru Friday. No weekends or holidays.
**Skills:**
- Experience operating a van or similar vehicle.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Ability to communicate effectively with passengers and colleagues.
- Ability to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the van.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
