Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Shift Lead to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The Shift Lead will be responsible for overseeing operations during their designated shifts, ensuring efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet EVERY guest in a prompt, warm and friendly manner, informing them of any current promotions, or daily specials
- Consistently deliver outstanding guest experiences through training and coaching the team and through exemplifying the Nour standard for service to each guest.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and family-friendly atmosphere for guests and squad members alike.
- Follow Nour’s recipes and procedures and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for safety, sanitation, and labor standards in addition to Nour’s standards while on duty.
- Delegate tasks to team members as needed while also setting a positive example by completing all assigned duties and taking initiative to complete additional cleaning, organizational, and prep tasks as time permits.
- Assist manager with rollout of system-wide promotional campaigns, limited-time-offers, training initiatives, and updates to policies, procedures, or recipes.
- Communicate concerns to management and work with management to implement plans enhanced performance.
- Follow and maintain preventative maintenance and cleaning schedules.
- Maintain cash intake responsibly, take measures to reduce waste, and monitor labor margins while on shift.
- Follow all inventory processes.
- Assist other team members, as the need arises.
- Serve as barista, barista back or buser if needed.
- Exemplify and give ongoing consistent leadership
- Confront and discipline when needed
- Follow through with task given
- Carry a positive outlook
Requirements
- Customer service experience in a restaurant environment - 1 year
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends
- Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Must be able to read and speak English
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
