Evolving as a Accountant by having…
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration or related field is required.
- Two (2) years of accounting experience is preferred.
- CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
- One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in mortgage industry preferred.

- Prepares a variety of detailed accounting, statistical, and narrative financial. statements or reports requiring analysis and interpretation.
- Works with the Auditor-Controller and with data processing personnel regarding work of fiscal and clerical personnel in making entries, reconciliation’s, and performing other fiscal record keeping work.
- Collects data on direct, indirect, and overhead costs of operations as they relate to the setting of rates and fees.
- Analyze fiscal data and draw logical conclusions.
- Define accounting problems and recommend effective solutions.
- Communicate accounting procedures and policies clearly to others.
- Write reports clearly and concisely.
- Set priorities to meet deadlines.
- Read, understand, and apply legal requirements and administrative policies to departmental accounting functions.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with accounting software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization.
- Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation.
- Highly detail-oriented.
