Summary
As Environmental, Health, & Safety Manager, you'll ensure compliance with safety regulations, creating a safe environment. As a leader, you will develop and implement safety policies and procedures, and train employees accordingly.
Primary Responsibilities
- Leading, developing, and implementing Environmental Health and Safety policies, programs, and procedures.
- Managing safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Creating and maintaining safe work systems, integrating health and safety into management and process leadership.
- Allocating resources, while collaborating cross-functionally to achieve Environmental Health and Safety objectives.
- Ensuring continuous improvement of employee safety and health through the creation of an Integrated Management System.
- Strict compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations.
- Implementation of the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.
- Subject matter expertise in Environmental Health & Safety, with a track record of achieving operational goals.
- Working knowledge of Integrated Management Systems (IMS) with specific experience leading ISO compliance to 14001, 45001 and integration of these standards into ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 management systems.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and industry standards like ISO, EHS, OSHA, and EPA.
- Prioritize safety and possess exceptional hazard identification skills, as well as be proficient in risk evaluation.
- Have excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to oversee teams, complex processes, or complex programs.
