How You'll Perform The Role
Assist with Washline operations by:
- Responsible for making sure all material being provided to Washline Operations is free of any and all contamination.
- Retrieve scrap from warehouse with use of clamp truck, transfer to Washline to sort and prepare for washing.
- Scan and transfer all material to Washline.
- Tear apart bails and sort scrap to remove all contaminants and color.
- Control and proper disposal of contaminants.
- Understand the processing of scrap and how it applies to the operation of the Washline.
- Assist with dump bins.
- Clean screens thoroughly during the shift.
- Must be forklift certified.
- Assist Washline Operator with any additional help.
- Must be able to assist with all preventative maintenance associated with equipment being used.
- Assisting with PM’s when needed.
- Keeping the Washline and equipment clean.
- Continuous housekeeping of Washline area.
- Must adhere to and complete all OSHA requirements and standards (i.e. LOTO, use of fire extinguishers, etc.)
- Maintain a safe and clean environment to ensure efficiencies, productivity and the highest possibly quality standards.
What We Need From You

- Good hand and eye coordination
- Mechanically inclined
- Forklift skills
- Ability to lift 1-50# on a continuous basis.
- Ability to understand film scrap characteristics, operation of equipment, and use of equipment.
- Physically able to stand for 8 hours.
