We are looking for a Superintendent to lead production on our various projects both new construction and remodeling. This position is unique and will require an individual with meaningfully advanced construction and management skills. An ideal applicant would have previous experience in vertical construction and the demonstrated ability to complete projects ahead of time and under budget.
The candidate we need is an experienced individual that can lead field production efficiently while dealing in a professional manner with high-end clientele while keeping our standard of building high quality projects.
The Candidate may be running several projects at one time. This position will ensure that all of the work is done on time and within the projected budget. They also need to ensure that the construction project is compliant with current building codes. Strategic planning of material procurement and labor activities are a must. The ability to foresee potential issues and manage labor and materials to ensure timely project completion is a must.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately through enforcing the company's site safety policies and subcontractor safety policies
- Use project scope of work to determine and define the best plan to complete each task effectively.
- Coordinate material procurement so materials are there when needed and running to get materials is kept to a minimum.
- Manage construction schedule and activities
- Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes
- Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships.
- Maintain quality execution and keep the job clean and orderly. Return materials not needed in a timely manner to keep the site clean and obtain proper credit.
- Coordinate efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors
- Ability to anticipate problems and proactively come up with solutions.
- Coordinate with sub-contractors to efficiently manage our production schedule
- Coordinate with suppliers, ordering construction materials as needed.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Inspect all deliveries, ensuring the materials are the right quantity and quality and are properly placed at the job site.
- Monitor the quality of all workmanship in detail. Stop work when necessary and provide training to independent contractors as needed.
- Communicate with sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure timely completion of work.
- Use your creative problem-solving skills to resolve construction and budget issues.
- Conduct weekly goal setting and safety meetings with all on-site subcontractors
- Construction scheduling for all work phases
- Must maintain a neat appearance at all times
Position Requirements:
- Good working knowledge of construction practices, tools, terminology and safety precautions of the trade (3-5 years relevant supervisor experience required)
- Ability to work well and communicate efficiently with clients, sub-contractors and other team members
- Must be very well organized and systematic
- Good leadership abilities
- Must be good at troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Ability to understand construction documents and plans
- Proven ability to manage construction schedules
Salary and Benefits:
- $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
