With deep roots in pharma and growing capabilities across the healthcare landscape, we're seeking an experienced, subject matter expert/client leader to help build, shape, and scale NWH for the future.
The Role: Senior Director, Healthcare
As Senior Director of Now What Health, you are a business builder, thought leader, and team mentor all in one. You bring deep healthcare experience and strategic curiosity to everything you do. You will lead a portfolio of key accounts, guide and grow a talented team, and shape Now What’s presence, influence, and innovation in the healthcare space. This is both a high-impact and high-visibility role—part player, part coach, and always an advocate for our clients, our people, and the power of human-centered thinking.

Your Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Business Growth
- Build and broaden NWH’s client portfolio, with a focus on forging strong, long-term, profitable partnerships
- Lead high-stakes pitches, presentations, and creds conversations that land big ideas and big clients
- Guide project teams to deliver elevated, actionable insight and strategy
- Oversee a healthy balance of portfolio-level and project-level engagements, ensuring consistent quality, growth, and impact
- Partner with the leadership team to refine Now What Health’s value proposition and sharpen our point of view across pharma and broader health
Team Leadership & Culture Building
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of healthcare researchers and strategists
- Set clear expectations for how and when to escalate or engage senior leadership on projects
- Help your team level up through skill-building, coaching, and strategic clarity
- Champion team wellbeing and create a thriving, inclusive, and sustainable team culture
Strategic Oversight & Thought Leadership
- Set standards and best practices for project oversight, defining what it means to lead while teaching and empowering
- Elevate deliverables, bringing a senior lens to strategic narratives, storytelling, and presentation quality
- Shape internal tools, methodologies, frameworks, and products that drive efficiency and innovation
- Surface and lead opportunities for thought leadership—IP, white papers, industry events, and speaking engagements
Operational & Financial Stewardship
- Own financial KPIs for NWH projects, including profitability, pipeline growth, and delivery excellence
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks; streamline processes to enable your team to do their best work
- Bring strategic input into staffing, hiring, and team structure planning as NWH scales
- Help evolve and communicate what NWH is and how it lives within the broader Now What brand
About You
- 15 years in insights, market research, and strategy with 10 years focused in healthcare or pharma
- Proven track record of client growth, business development, and team leadership
- Adept at setting vision, selling ideas, and influencing C-suite stakeholders
- Experienced in guiding teams to create rigorous, creative, and inspiring work without micromanaging
- A strong communicator and storyteller who shifts perspectives and inspires action
- Comfortable operating at multiple altitudes—big picture to granular feedback
- Skilled at navigating and optimizing cross-functional work, processes, and tools
- Known for your humility, clarity, accountability—and your ability to inspire others to level up
