Bartender

The bartender crafts cocktails and provides a vibrant and engaging bar experience. Bartenders must have a heightened knowledge in food, wine and liquor, a friendly demeanor, and dedication to exceptional service will contribute to creating unforgettable moments for the guests.

Reporting Lines: 

The bartender reports to the General Manager and Floor Manager / Assistant General Manager. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests to the bar, engaging in friendly conversation and providing a warm atmosphere.
• Prepare and serve a diverse range of cocktails, beers, wines, and other beverages with precision and creativity.
• Create signature cocktails and recommend drink pairings, showcasing your mixology skills.
• Efficiently manage the bar area, including setup, cleanup, and restocking of supplies.
• Engage with guests professionally, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or preferences.
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Process payments accurately, handle cash, and manage POS transactions with confidence.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, following hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication and guest satisfaction.
• Adhere to all local and state regulations related to alcohol service and safety.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Bartender in a high-end bar or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of mixology, cocktails, spirits, beers, and wines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an engaging and sociable personality.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced bar environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of alcohol service regulations and responsible beverage service practices.
• Positive attitude and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
• Creativity and a desire to innovate and experiment with cocktail creations.
