Principal Territory Account Manager

Greater Seattle or Portland Area

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Territory Account Manager to join a successful, growing division of a Fortune 500 manufacturer. This position is responsible for managing and expanding sales of new industrial motors and motor repair services across Western Washington and Oregon. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, goal-oriented professional with a strong drive for success and a collaborative mindset. This is a home-based role when not traveling, with significant regional travel required.

Key Responsibilities

Drive outside sales of industrial motors and related services within the assigned territory

Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers

Collaborate with internal teams on bid preparation and submission, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer needs

Achieve sales targets and contribute to the companys growth objectives

Create and implement strategic plans to expand market share and increase customer retention

Respond promptly to customer inquiries with professionalism and technical knowledge

Support development of new product line strategies to meet evolving market demands

Manage scheduling, priorities, and tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and business objectives

Visit customer sites to assess needs and convert opportunities into profitable outcomes

Represent the company with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach at all levels

Desired Qualifications

Bachelors degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial sales, motor systems, or power generation; OR 10 years of relevant experience without a degree

Solid understanding of industrial motors and the industrial services market

Technical aptitude in electrical and mechanical systems

Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and CRM platforms

Willing and able to travel 50% within the territory
