We are currently seeking a OCM Manager to join our team in Springfield, Illinois (US-IL), United States (US).
The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Manager will play a key role in the successful implementation and adoption of a large health care system implementation/enhancements. The OCM Manager must apply change management strategies and methods to meet business, schedule and budget objectives. This person will focus on the people side of change - including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures - to ensure readiness to adopt the change. The primary focus will be creating and implementing change management plans and materials that ease the transition and maximize user engagement. The OCM Manager will work to drive faster adoption, greater ultimate utilization and higher proficiency on the changes impacting employees in the organization such that business results are achieved. The Organizational Change Manager maintains a broad understanding of project activities and processes to apply a structured organizational change management approach and methodology to enable smooth adoption of the changes associate with multiple IT projects. The OCM Manager will work under the direct leadership of the IV&V Manager and in collaboration with other IT project leaders.
Job Responsibilities Include Lead the creation of the OCM Approach and Strategic plan for a large complex IT program implementation Lead the work of the OCM Analyst and the Communications and Training Specialist and their related materials Perform future state business modeling for Health and Human Services Review current and future business processes to identify impacts to future-state staff roles and responsibilities Execute the OCM plans and track progress Conduct stakeholder change readiness assessments Understand client's organization and change management issues, explain the factors involved and shape organizational solutions to deliver value to the client Support the vendor and State project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans with special consideration and consideration for readying stakeholders for the change Support and coach front-line managers and supervisors to help their direct reports through transition Enable the engagement of Change Champions Identify potential personnel risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns
Basic Qualifications Minimum 8 years of OCM/BA experience including Minimum 3 years of experience in leading an Organizational Change Management initiative Minimum 3 years of experience on Medicaid or Major Health Care Payer projects Minimum 2 years of experience with requirements and business processes improvement/re-engineering, stakeholder management, communications management, and/or user training Minimum 1 years of experience in leading training development and delivery Minimum 1 year of experience working with Medicaid Transformation Initiative
Preferred Skills Prosci or equivalent Change Management Professional certification Expertise in using business process modeling software such as Visio Ability to work effectively at all levels in an organization - strong organization behavior knowledge Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as formal presentation for executive audience and end users Experience managing teams of part-time participants to meet project objectives Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal Experience using SharePoint and Microsoft Office applications
