Seasonal Retail Agent/Budtender

Role Summary:

Your knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods, coupled with your exceptional communication skills, will help customers make well-informed decisions. We seek a dynamic individuals, aged 21 or older, who excel in fast-paced environments, embodies trustworthiness, and can work both independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner acting as a knowledgeable and approachable resource, answering questions and providing information about cannabis products.
• Offer product recommendations based on customer preferences, needs, and desired effects.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods.
• Understand the differences between various strains (indica, sativa, hybrid) and their effects; educate customers on proper dosage and consumption methods.
• Familiarity with different product types, including flower, concentrates, edibles, and topicals.
• Adhere to all local and state cannabis regulations, including age verification and identification checks.
• Maintain accurate records of sales and inventory as required by law.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and compliant with all safety and security protocols.
• Effectively promote sales by upselling and cross-selling related products; provide pricing information and explain discounts or promotions to customers.
• Handle cash transactions and use the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately.
• Complete required training sessions and stay up to date product knowledge.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by company leadership.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Previous retail or sales experience preferred, with a proven track record of meeting sales goals.
• Demonstrated reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
• Flexibility to work required evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be 21 years of age with the ability to pass State required background qualifications.
