Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Dietitian Nutritionist in the South Bend, Indiana area to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide clinical nutrition expertise by conducting nutritional assessments, developing personalized nutrition care plans, and delivering counseling and education to patients and families. You will be a key player in assessing potential nutritional risks and implementing tailored medical nutrition therapy (MNT) interventions, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and document findings in a timely and efficient manner.
- Identify nutritional risks and provide individualized medical nutrition therapy interventions.
- Offer expert nutritional counseling and education to patients and families, promoting health and well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure integrated care and optimal outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nutrition science and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications:
- Must hold certification as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (CDR) from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Current state licensure as a Dietitian in the state of practice.
- Strong understanding of clinical nutrition principles and the ability to apply them effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a collaborative team.
