What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plug and Mold Detailer / Finisher position at NuWave Composites?
Trainee
Payrate: $12 per hour
Trainees will be tasked with learning sanding tasks such as blue printing, blocking and DA sanding under supervision of Tier 2 or 3.
Tier 1
Payrate: $15-18 per hour
Tier 1 Finishers role responsibilities include being able to block surfaces and DA surfaces correctly. They must know the plug and mold finishing process completely. Know the steps for going through sanding grits and be able to buff a mold effectively.
Tier 2
Payrate: $ 19-24per hour
In addition to the improvement of Tier 1 skills, must be able to identify issues and perform resprays, gel drops and finish molds in expected and established task times. Touch ups at time of QC should be minimal and must understand all materials/chemicals used in the finish process.
(Sealer, Primer, Gel Coat, Tooling Gel coat, MEKP, Wax additive, High gloss additive, etc)
Tier 3
Payrate: $25-30 per hour
In addition to the improvement of Tier 1 skills, Tier 3 Finishers must be able to be lead on project and ensure correct project completion in a team or individually with the highest quality and timely. Must be able to correctly QC work and provide solutions and guidance to tier 1 and 2 finishers.

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
