Description
Commercial R.A.S. aquaculture facility breeding and producing various species of warm water fish along with live food organisms. Our original facility comprises over 20,000 square feet of hatchery and grow out. We are now completing a 16,000 square feet state of the art hatchery and research center with completion expected this spring. Our 3rd facility is 72,000 square feet and scheduled for completion in 2025. This is a ground floor opportunity with advancement in one of the most unique facilities in North America.
Job Details
Aquaculture Technicians perform a variety of tasks relating to daily operations and maintenance of our aquaculture facility in Newton, NJ, water testing, fish handling, grading, system maintenance, data collection, harvesting, etc.
Requirements
- Must have aquaculture or tropical fish experience
- Must be able to swim
- Highly motivated
- Self-starter
- Able to work some nights, weekends if necessary
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in warm humid environment
