Job description
We are seeking an experienced medical receptionist to join our growing pediatric mental health clinic. Preference is given to candidates who are fluent in both English and Spanish.
We are seeking a friendly, detail-orientated professional who is committed to serving children and families in our community. Prior medical office experience is a must.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Work in a team environment with other administrative staff persons and the clinical team
- Manage multiple phone lines in a professional and courteous manner
- Greet and check in patients at the front desk
- Collect co-pays, coinsurance and outstanding balances
- Schedule patient appointments
- Review patient charts to ensure that information and necessary paperwork is up to date and complete
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information at all times
- Maintain excellent patient relations
- Basic administrative duties such as copying, faxing/scanning and word processing
- Effectively utilize various software platforms and technology
- Demonstrate willingness to learn and grow!

Job Type: Full-time (36 hr/week)
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Salary : $18 - $20
