What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaner at NXGen Fitness - Portland position at NXGen Fitness Center?
NXGen Fitness Center is looking to hire 3-4 part time cleaners for our Portland and Scarborough location. The cleaners will either split time between both locations or work at one location depending on availability and scheduling with other cleaners. If you enjoy working with a team and also on your own, getting into a zone and cleaning while listening to your music, audiobook or podcast, this job is for you! Scheduling is flexible but will require some after hours cleaning.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning gym equipment
- Vacuuming and mopping
- Dusting
- Mirror and window washing
- Helping Front Desk Staff with laundry of our sweat and shower towels
- Maintaining a clean and organized main floor, offices, training rooms, class rooms and lobby
- Some cleaning of the locker rooms, bathrooms, showers and saunas. We have an outside company that cleans the locker rooms at night but daytime cleaning may also need to be done.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Cleaning experience preferred
- Flexible schedule
- Willing to work after hours 1-2 times per week
- Hardworking and reliable
- Clean background check
Compensation:
- $20/hr
