What are the responsibilities and job description for the Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Technician - EPI position at NXP Semiconductors?
The candidate(s) selected will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in Chandler Fab EPI areas.
Required
The technician position is responsible for effectively executing tasks and activities that are required to maintain primarily the toolsets and support equipment within the EPI production area that will include:
The desired candidate will be required to effectively communicate using written and verbal skills, stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours), and be physically able to perform required tasks which may include stooping, crawling in confined spaces, and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds.
The position requires working compressed shifts, days or nights.
Education
AA, AS, AAS, in electronics or other industrial engineering related discipline is preferred. Education along with experience or military training may satisfy formal education requirements.
Experience
Specific knowledge of semiconductor maintenance job functions is required.

- Helium & Hydrogen leak checkers
- Exhaust abatement: ATLAS, AirGard, EcoGuard
- Bio-rad FTIR
- ThermoFlex 5000 TCS Chiller
- Vacuum bag sealer
- Operation of associated metrology equipment
