NY State Solar is Looking for a Sr Sales Representative - In Home Consultant in one of our strongest performing markets. A Sr Sales Representative - In Home Consultant will work to educate and meet with local homeowners with interest in going solar. You will be a partner to the customers and act as the liaison through the entire process.
***We provide comprehensive training for experienced in home salespeople.***
Sr Sales Representative Duties and Responsibilities:
- Educate homeowners about available programs and collect necessary docs for proposals
- Follow up with all self generated leads and get projects to contract
- Commitment to personal growth and ongoing education
- Work as a team and HAVE FUN!

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience with documented success (in-home sales experience)
- Efficiently communicate proposals during in-home presentations
- Effective computer skill in order to update and maintain flow of information throughout our CRM (Salesforce) and ability to communicate through multiple platforms (i.e. Email, Chatter, WhatsApp)
- Need to be comfortable discussing finances and tax liability with homeowners
- Strong and consistent communicator, upwards & downwards, Good listener
- High energy/high sense of urgency/fast-paced and can think on her/his feet
