What This Role Is All About:
As a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist, your main focus will be to source and acquire quality pre-owned vehicles for our dealership. You'll engage with private sellers, current customers, and potential leads to identify, evaluate, and purchase vehicles that meet our inventory needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to private sellers and lease-end customers to inquire about potential vehicle purchases
- Follow up on leads from service customers, online platforms, and internal referrals
- Use phone, email, and text to build rapport, explain the appraisal/acquisition process, and schedule vehicle evaluations
- Work closely with appraisers, managers, and the used car team to evaluate and acquire vehicles efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and opportunities in CRM tools
- Meet or exceed daily/weekly contact and acquisition goals
What We’re Looking For:
- Excellent phone and communication skills – you’re confident, clear, and persuasive
- High energy, positive attitude, and driven by results
- Previous sales, BDC, or customer service experience preferred
- Automotive industry experience is a plus, but not required – we’ll train the right personality
- Strong organizational skills and follow-up ability
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
