What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Specialist position at O'Connell Landscape Maintenance?
Duties and Essential Job Functions:
- Bilingual Spanish-English
- Experience with ADP payroll
- Part of a 3 person payroll team
- Enter bi-weekly payroll time sheets
- Perform daily payroll department operations
- Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance
- Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
- Process manual check and relocation metric’s
- Assist employees with payroll questions
- Monitoring I-9 Records
- Manage Personnel Records
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- CPP preferred but not required.
- 2-3 years experience processing payroll.
- Working knowledge of payroll best practices.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations.
- Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel .
- Working knowledge of ADP
- Strong work ethic and team player.
- High degree of professionalism.
- Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material
- Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with various levels of management.
- Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
