What are the responsibilities and job description for the Double weekend charge nurse position at Oak Brook Health Care Center?

Oakbrook is seeking a weekend double charge nurse to join our team. The weekend charge nurse will be responsible for residents under their care in conjunction with CNAs, Medication Nurses, and Treatment nurses. This position is Saturday and Sunday from 7 AM to 11 PM.

Essential Job Functions:

  • The charge nurse will provide direct care to residents in conjunction with CNAs and medication nurses.
  • Complete all skilled charting, changes in condition, and/or new orders or treatments received
  • Administers breathing treatments, accuchecks, and administers insulin
  • Communicates with physicians and outside providers effectively to ensure quality care for our residents
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Salary : $47,200 - $59,700
