The Aquatic Manager is primarily responsible for the administration of all tasks related to operation and management of the Oak Brook Park District Family Aquatic Center (FAC), a year-round indoor aquatic facility that includes Splash Island, a seasonal outdoor facility, for the Park District. Key responsibilities include hiring, training, scheduling and supervising of pool managers, lifeguards and party attendant staff. Manage and support the Aquatic Programming Supervisor and assist with aquatic programming needs. This person will also be directly responsible for operational organization of all aquatic rentals and parties for the FAC. This position may require weekly time spent as an on-deck pool manager and/or lifeguarding as needed. The Aquatic Manager will serve as a Safety Coordinator for the Park District, supporting the HR and Risk Manager with presenting staff safety trainings and tracking certifications.
