Qualified candidates should have experience in long term care (LTC), including Director or Assistant Director leadership experience. Requirements
The qualified candidate will have:
- 3-5 years of Director of Nursing experience preferred
- Current WI Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations in long-term care
- Experience with the applicable state Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid
Responsibilities:
- Defines and maintains the standards of nursing practice within the facility
- Ensuring continued adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations
- Management and oversight of all nursing staff
- Providing planning, organization, education, supervision, and evaluation of all services provided in the facility
- Verifying that all department staff is properly trained to perform their required duties
- Ensuring that operation of the Nursing Department remains consistently within budget
- Experience with the applicable state Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid
