Located on 20 acres of rolling hills in a rural setting, about 45 minutes from Nashville, Tennessee, Oak Plains Academy offers psychiatric residential treatment services to children and adolescents ages 5–17, struggling with emotional and behavioral issues. Must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a valid Tennessee Teaching Certificate in Special Education, with certification in Special Education K-8th grade.
- If licensed in other areas of Education, you must obtain an endorsement in Special Education within one year of accepting the position.
- Have experience in Special Education working with children with learning disabilities and or behavioral mental health concerns.
