Mammography Tech, Per Diem

Under the direction of the Radiologist, the Mammography Tech is responsible for the production of consistent, high quality, mammograms. Performs duties and functions of a Radiology Technologist as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education:

• Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiology Technology
• Current CRT, ARRT Certification
• Current Mammography Certification
• High school graduate or equivalent required

Minimum Experience/Skills:

• 0 to 1 years experience for Technologist I
• 1 to 3 years’ experience preferred for additional modalities
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Licenses/Certificates/Credentials:

• Must be licensed and hold current certification in Radiological Technology by the State of California, Radiological Health Section, Department of Health.
• Must be licensed by American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT)
• Obtain Fluoroscopy permit within two years of employment.
• Current BLS certification

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
