What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Specialist position at Oakland Health & Safety?

We offer services to educate homeowners and small businesses on all current fire related research, ensuring they are properly prepared in the event of an emergency. We evaluate homes and business risks, prepare and plan escape routes, and meet their safety needs accordingly. (No experience necessary.) We strive to make a difference in the community, one home or business at a time. We fully train and provide the newest information on fire safety as released for our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 
  • Communicate with our clients (phone and face to face). 
  • Prepare our clients themselves by planning emergency exit plans, setting meeting spots, and identifying one-site fire risks. 
  • Collaborate with management teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies. 
  • Record filing within our customer service database. 
  • Engage with clients. 
  • Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with company's customer service policies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Valid drivers-license required.
  • Good communication skills.
