Overview:
The Athletics Office Student Employee will provide customer service and administrative support to office at Oakton Athletics. The student in this role will be generally trained on administrative tasks, and customer service. A typical day could include staffing the front desk and answering phones, providing event support, or completing a special project detailed by the Athletics Department.

Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities and Learning Outcomes:
- Assisting office in updating social media and website (CM, TM)
- Assisting in office data entry (TM)
- Assisting office in organizing athletic events (CT)
- Greeting and answering phones in the office (PF)
- Lead tours for prospective and new athletes (LD)
- Collaborate with athletics department on other tasks as directed (TW)

Candidate Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Other abilities):
- Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
-Demonstrated reliability and responsibility.
-Friendly, flexible, organizes, courteous, and punctuality a must.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills with strong detail orientation prefered.
- Proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office and Google technology (GSUITE) preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Some evening and vey occasional weekend hours.
- Must be currently enrolled at Oakton College in at least six credit hours during the Fall and Spring semester. Employment over the summer is allowed for students taking at least 1 credit class during the summer, or students continuing registration into the following Fall semester.
- Can show proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- At time of hire a minimum GPA of 2.0 or first semester enrolled at Oakton and be in good academic standing.
