Position Summary:
Oasis is seeking a Family Care Coordinator to join our EIDBI team. This position focuses on supporting families as they navigate ABA-based services, understand treatment goals, and participate actively in their child’s care plan. The coordinator will collaborate closely with families, BCBAs, Qualified Supervising Professionals (QSPs), and mental health staff to ensure smooth service delivery and promote meaningful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule family care services, ITP meetings, and caregiver training sessions.
- Work directly with parents and caregivers to support understanding of ABA goals and individualized treatment plans.
- Assist in onboarding new families to Oasis by helping with scheduling, orientation, and service navigation.
- Collaborate with clinical supervisors (BCBA, QSP, or mental health professionals) to monitor child progress and update treatment goals.
- Attend caregiver sessions both virtually and in-person (1–2 days per week in the office or community settings).
- Create and distribute educational materials and resources that promote family involvement and skill reinforcement at home.
- Communicate with schools, pediatricians, and community agencies for coordinated care and service integration.
- Document service coordination activities in compliance with EIDBI requirements and Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) billing practices.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Child Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of one year of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a family-centered and culturally responsive approach.
- Ability to collaborate with clinical teams and manage multiple family relationships.
Preferred:
- Experience working directly with children diagnosed with autism or developmental delays.
- Interest in pursuing BCBA or BCaBA certification.
- Familiarity with EIDBI services and billing codes (e.g., 97156 – Family Training, H0032 – ITP Monitoring).
- Knowledge of Minnesota’s Medicaid system and early intervention services.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid position: Primarily remote with 1–2 in-office days per week (based on family and team needs).
- May include home visits or school meetings as part of care coordination.
- Collaboration with Oasis staff using secure telehealth platforms and in-person support.
