Oblon, McClelland, Maier & Neustadt LLP (“Oblon”) seeks an Associate with 2 years of patent prosecution experience to join its Electrical Patent Prosecution Practice Group. A technical background is required in advanced math and/or computer science.
The candidate will serve in the analysis and preparation of replies to office actions and amendments; invention and disclosure meetings/calls with clients; preparation of new patent applications; preparation and prosecution of design applications; study of patents and prosecution history files in support of opinions of non-infringement or invalidity; technology licensing agreements and related transactions; and support of litigation, administrative reviews, petitions and appeals.
Qualified candidates must possess a J.D. from an ABA accredited law school and be licensed to practice in a state bar and before the USPTO.

Education
Preferred- Bachelors or better in Mathematical Sciences or related field
