Occupational Health Nurse
Duties:
- Provide emergency medical care and treatment to employees in the event of an accident or injury.
- Conduct initial assessments and triage for employees with work-related illnesses or injuries.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop treatment plans and monitor progress.
- Administer vaccinations and perform health screenings as required.
- Conduct health and safety training sessions for employees (i.e. CPR Training, AED Training, Blood Borne Pathogen Training).
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with management to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
- Provide support and guidance to employees regarding health-related concerns.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
- Wisconsin state nursing license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in occupational health or a related field.
- Knowledge of occupational health regulations and best practices.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
