What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier (Food Service) position at Occupational Training Center?
- Operate computer cash register and accurately handle monetary and meal card transactions for military and civilian personnel quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain the work area clean and sanitized following all health and safety regulations codes.
- Understand daily menu item, collect payment for purchases and make change accordingly and accurately.
- Maintains and records each transaction on reports, forms and cash register by complying with all rules and regulations set forth in the cashier manual.
- Reconciles cash drawer at the start and end of shift. Insure all monies, documents and forms are secured and return to the assigned Office Manager in a timely manner.
- Ability to perform food service attendant duties as required by the Project Manager.
- Record and report all discrepancies immediately to the Supervisor.
- Willingly and effectively cooperates with OTC, The Department of Human Services, The Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), and other licensing or state agency or local municipalities in any inspections and investigations, upon request.
