The Ocean Community YMCA, with locations in RI and CT, now has an opportunity for an experienced Sports Director at our Westerly-Pawcatuck Branch.

This is a full-time, 40 hour per week, exempt, salaried position.

As the Sports Director, you will :

• Oversee and coordinate instructional and competitive sports programs
• Administer, oversee, and / or instruct youth and adult sports programs
• Securing facility rentals with outside organizations
• Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and volunteers in sports programs including gymnastics, pickleball, and basketball.
• Organize program schedules
• Develop and manage program budgets
• Assist with marketing of programs and distribution of program materials.
• Managing payroll for support staff
• Assist with planning special events including sponsorships and collaborations.
