Job description: Job Description Specialist, International Logistics - Special Commodities Job Family: Service Center Job Title: Specialist, International Logistics- Special Commodities, Role Summary: This position is responsible for the successful execution of the Boise Customer Service, Special Commodities process. Required to follow policies and procedures to provide an optimal level of customer service. Responsible for scheduling and booking cargo, tracking and tracing, and problem resolution. The incumbent will report directly to the Supervisor, Special Commodities, Customer Service. Additional Responsibilities: This position resolves operational issues for refrigerated, hazardous, and out-of-gauge cargo bookings. Responsibilities include scheduling and booking cargo. Ability to handle a high volume of daily incoming calls and emails Has frequent contact with several other departments within the organization to resolve customer concerns and/or questions. Calls are non-routine and require deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures Handles situations that may require adaptation of response or extensive research according to customer needs. Requires extensive knowledge of the organization, products, and/or services.
