Sales Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a positive gallery experience. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating artwork within the gallery.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Provide product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to effectively assist customers.
- Engage with customers through phone etiquette, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming gallery environment.
- Support sales initiatives by actively promoting products and upselling when appropriate.

Experience
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective customer interaction.
- Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions and inventory tasks.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
