What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager, Product Development position at ODDITY?
THE OPPORTUNITY
IL MAKIAGE is looking for a highly organized, analytical, and solutions-oriented Project Manager to join our Product Development team, focused on packaging. In this role, you’ll lead the end-to-end development process for packaging across several product categories—including makeup, skincare, and new verticals as we expand.
You’ll own packaging development for some of our most important launches—from first brief to final production. That includes researching materials, building detailed project timelines, managing supplier relationships, tracking costs and samples, and ensuring every component is delivered on time, on budget, and on brand.
You’ll work closely with internal teams across product, supply chain, R&D, creative, and operations, while managing communication with global vendors and external partners. From early-stage research to technical development, testing, and production—you’ll be responsible for making sure every detail is tracked, every deadline is hit, and every spec is met.
This is a fast-paced, high-impact role for someone who thrives in complexity, loves working cross-functionally, and brings structure to everything they touch. If you’re curious, Excel-savvy, obsessed with timelines, and excited by the idea of building beautiful physical products—you’re exactly who we’re looking for.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead end-to-end packaging development for assigned product categories—from kickoff to shipment
- Own project plans and Gantt timelines, tracking milestones across testing, sampling, artwork, and production
- Conduct research on packaging formats, materials, and innovation trends to support early-stage concepting
- Manage supplier communication—sharing briefs, collecting samples, and driving forward rounds of iteration
- Track costs, specs, and deliverables with precision—supporting strategic decisions across product and ops
- Work cross-functionally with formula, creative, ops, and supply chain teams to keep projects aligned and on track
WHO YOU ARE
- Exceptionally organized and operationally strong—you bring structure to chaos
- Analytical and data-literate—you’re comfortable in Excel and love solving complex puzzles
- Clear communicator—you know how to keep people aligned and informed
- Curious and resourceful—always asking the right questions and figuring out the next step
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects and working with urgency under tight timelines
- Passionate about consumer products (beauty is a plus, but not required)
- No ego, no hesitation—just a roll-up-your-sleeves mindset and willingness to own it
REQUIREMENTS
- BA or BS from a top-tier university
- 0–2 years of experience in product development, operations, packaging, or project management
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides, and project tracking tools
- Bonus: exposure to global supply chain, manufacturing, or CPG product lifecycle
