We are looking for people invigorated by the mission. A Line Service Technician, or LST is a customer service role responsible for a variety of duties that contribute towards safely providing requested services for general aviation aircraft, crews and passengers. The best LSTs are genuinely concerned about safety and excited to help customers and their team. They're patient, knowledgeable, self-motivated and passionately communicative. An LST routinely operates ground service equipment and uses knowledge of the company's policies and procedures to provide efficient and excellent service safely to customers and other guests at the fixed based operation (FBO).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform fueling at the airport in safe and efficient manner.
Accurately track fuel transactions
Follow proper radio communication etiquette.
Execute daily Quality Control checks on equipment.
Maintain equipment in clean and functional condition.
Drive and operate fuel trucks to fuel aircraft.
Ensure the correct loading of proper grade fuel.
Marshall aircraft during arrival and departure
Load and unload passenger luggage to designated areas or vehicles.
Exceed Golden Isles Aviation customer service and safety standards.
Inspect ramp areas adjacent to gate and aircraft for debris and remove/dispose of when found.
Report all equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor/manager.
Comply with all federal, state, municipal, airport authority and carrier security requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess and maintain a valid US drivers license.
- Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to communicate professionally through handheld radios with other departments.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 70lbs on a regular basis
- Carry heavy items
- Climb, bend, kneel and stoop on a frequent basis
- Ability to climb ladders at least 10 feet high, to fuel aircraft.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time (standing for periods and walking long distances.)
- Work outside in all types of weather, around jet and machinery noises
Aviation is a 24/7 industry, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, additional hours beyond the regular shift as needed and rotating on call to support customer or operational requirements.
