Overview of Responsibilities

The Psychotherapist provides therapeutic interventions and case management services for clients in the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Pasadena Villa Outpatient – Knoxville.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assessment, treatment planning, and case management as indicated for all assigned clients.
• Facilitation of individual and family therapy as indicated for all assigned clients.
• Facilitation of group therapy for all clients in PHP and IOP. 
• Collaboration and care coordination with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of assigned clients as indicated.
• Working with clinical team and leadership to develop group programming curriculum that fosters client engagement in programming.
• Ensuring documentation is in compliance with internal and external quality and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have a master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, counseling, or other related fields.
• Must be a provisionally or fully licensed mental health professional in Tennessee such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Ph.D. Psychologist, and/or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Minimum of two years’ experience working with adults ages 18 and up with primary psychiatric diagnosis(es) and/or co-occurring disorders.
• Experience in individual, group, and family treatment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with disposition planning and knowledge of local resources a plus.
• Success in engaging clients, and family/significant other (if involved), in treatment to improve clinical outcomes.
• Performs work independently, responsibly and with a high level of integrity.
