This is a renewable grant funded position dedicated to curbing auto-theft cases and is located at the Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center, 300 N. Gay Street, Baltimore, MD 21202. The hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities Include
- Provide legal and administrative support to the CARS team;
- Assist CARS prosecutor with all stages of case preparation and prosecution;
- Research at the direction of the CARS prosecutor;
- Draft and prepare a variety of legal documents and correspondences, including but not limited to victim and witness notifications, motions, and legal memoranda;
- Prepare outgoing correspondence;
- File maintenance including purging closed files;
- Collect and maintain statistical data for CARS cases;
- Assist in preparing quarterly reports per grant guidelines that include dispositions, dismissals, and special conditions of each CARS case; and
- Other duties as directed or delegated.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to meet deadlines;
- Must work well with a variety of individuals and be able to resolve issues professionally;
- Intermediate skill level MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
Salary: Starting salary is $64,494 commensurate with experience.
