Offit Kurman, a growing AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a proactive Legal Administrative Assistant to support our attorneys in Timonium, MD. This role will support a group of Bankruptcy attorneys and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professionalism in a fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage busy attorney calendars, including court appearances, meetings, and events.
- Draft, prepare, and e-file legal documents under attorney supervision.
- Coordinate new client/matter intake using InTapp and maintain organized case files in NetDocs.
- Assist with case management, deadlines, and trial preparation.
- Serve as a professional point of contact for clients and outside parties.
- Process expense reports, reimbursements, and related financial documentation.
- Provide occasional backup support to reception and office operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3 years of administrative support in a legal or professional services setting.
- Strong experience with Federal and/or Bankruptcy e-filing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, InTapp, and NetDocs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Chapter 11 bankruptcy experience preferred.
