Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist shoppers with product selection, answer questions, and offer personalized recommendations
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Upsell items by highlighting relevant products and promotions to increase sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and restocking shelves efficiently
- Manage stock levels through stocking, inventory checks, and reporting low supplies to ensure product availability
- Follow phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support cashiering duties with basic math skills to handle transactions accurately
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Supervising experience is a plus, especially if you've led teams or trained new staff members
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
