We are looking for a receptionist/technician with a great personality and can interact well with patients and staff at our busy Optometry practice. We are looking for someone who can deliver outstanding customer service, patient care and also has the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure.
This position requires proper etiquette, attention to detail, professional appearance and punctuality.
Previous experience preferred but not required.
Job responsibilities include:
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments.
- Patient check in/check out
- Verifying and understanding insurance benefits
- Performing preliminary testing
- Contact lens dispensing and training on insertion and removal
- Patient data entry
- Knowledge of practice management software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task
- Excellent customer service skills
- Team player
- Self motivator
Must work weekends.
