SUMMARY
The Brand Manager oversees the development, implementation, and management of brand strategies set forth by the Director of Brand Activation and the Wheeling Park Commission leadership team. The Brand Manager is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the brand's image, driving customer engagement, and ensuring consistent messaging is communicated across all channels. This role is both analytical and creative, requiring an understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, effective communication, and marketing strategies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Brand Ambassador :
As a champion and ambassador for the Wheeling Park Commission’s family of brands, the Brand Manager will work in tandem with the Director of Brand Activation to ensure brand positioning, mission, vision, and values are upheld and remain in alignment with business goals and market opportunities.
Work alongside the Director of Brand Activation to design and implement a wide variety of branded experiences across Oglebay Park Resort and Wheeling Park.
Assist the Director of Brand Activation with sourcing, procuring, and implementing a variety of brand expressions ranging from physical signage to
guest amenities, and more.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand target audience preferences, needs, and behaviors.
Collaborate with the Director of Brand Activation and other cross-functional teams to conceptualize and execute brand activations that align with brand strategy.
Work closely with internal departments including, but not limited to, marketing, sales, operations and procurement to ensure brand alignment across all initiatives.
Craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate the brand’s value proposition and resonate with target audiences.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and consumer expectations to keep the brand relevant and competitive.
SKILLS REQUIRED :
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. 3 years of experience in marketing, public relations, branding, or a related role.
