Opportunity available for a passionate and trauma-informed mental health professional with experience/strong interest in working both clinically and boots on the ground with survivors of trauma and abuse to join Ohel's Domestic Violence department. Candidate will offer trauma-informed individual counseling, group counseling, and case management to clients experiencing intimate partner violence. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: providing clinical and case management services through a trauma-informed, survivor-centered lens; leading weekly group sessions; providing advocacy and linkage to concrete services; collaborating with colleagues within the Domestic Violence program and other departments to support and enhance client care; managing a caseload of survivors residing in this program’s shelter and tending to related needs; attending and working survivor-centered events. MSW or MHC degree required. Strong clinical and administrative skills a must. This full-time, 35-hour a week position is located in Brooklyn and offers supervision and CEU in-service training in a warm and supportive work environment. Yiddish/Hebrew/Russian-speaking a plus.
Salary: $53,000 - $56,000
