What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker position at OHI Inc?
Come join the OHI Team as a maintenance worker! We are looking for a person with a wide range of general repairs & maintenance skills. The candidate would assist our property manager by doing property inspections, evaluating the maintenance needs of properties, suggesting solutions, meeting with vendors, and performing general repairs and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate needs to be able to do general carpentry such as and not limited to drywall repairs, painting, siding repairs, window repairs and have basic electrical and plumbing knowledge and have basic computer skills. Most importantly we are looking for a candidate that will treat the people we support and staff with a professional and polite attitude and takes pride in quality customer service and has a willingness to learn new skills.
- High school or equivalent
- 3 years experience in Maintenance (Preferred)
- Must pass background check and have a valid driver’s license. The ideal candidate must have reliable transportation as job sites change daily.
- A self-starter and can work with minimal supervision
