JOB SUMMARY:
The Field Serviceman will work closely with the product support team to ensure maximum uptime for the energy rental solutions assets. They will support our Power generation, HVAC, and compressed air fleet. Equipment to be supported includes generators, transformers, electrical distribution equipment, Water chillers, DX air conditioners, dehumidifiers, heaters (NG, propane, and electric), Air compressors (oil-flooded and oil-free), and ancillary equipment.

JOB SUMMARY:

Equipment to be supported includes generators, transformers, electrical distribution equipment, Water chillers, DX air conditioners, dehumidifiers, heaters (NG, propane, and electric), Air compressors (oil-flooded and oil-free), and ancillary equipment.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Three years of hands-on experience with diesel engines, power generators, HVAC systems, or industrial equipment, or graduation from a two-year technical school program focused on diesel engine or power generator repair, plus two years of experience.
- An understanding of HVAC service and repair is required for air-cooled water chillers and DX air conditioners.
- Must have a complete understanding of generator maintenance and repair. Paralleling, electrical controls, and remote monitoring skills are required.
- Experience maintaining oil-free/oil-flooded air compressors with engine and electric drive compressors.
- Experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting computer equipment is required.
- Must be able to analyze symptoms, probable causes, and make accurate and timely repairs.
- Desire and ability to present strong customer service skills.
- Follow all Ohio CAT’s policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Must own and safely use personal mechanic’s tools. “Safely Home, Everyone, Every Day”
